Field Day 2014 Post report

The primary effort this year was to support my local radio groups effort.
However I did set up a QRP station with small gel cell battery, LNR EFT end fed antenna, and the FT817 ND.
I worked 15 sections: 12 on 20m and 3 on 40 meters. Most contacts were CW but a few were on ssb (20m).
With the exception of 1 contact attempted at 5 watts, all the others were at the 2.5 watt output level.
This was a very casual operation. Only 17 contacts were made. I will not submit a score.
I was impressed with the ability this very modest station had at contacting the continental US.
